I just noticed something.
The love of a dog is unconditional, no matter how badly you treat them, or yell at them to get off of the couch, their love for you will continue until the day that they die. Dogs don’t see gender, they don’t know if you’re wealthy or if you’re poor. Dogs don’t care if you look horrible without makeup, or about that troublesome past that you tend to harbor in your heart. The only thing they care about is your love and if you could maybe give them a snack and a belly rub every now and then. A dog’s love is unconditional, unlike the love of humans. Is that why we call dogs, ‘a man’s best friend’? Because we lack love and their love flows abundantly? If so, why don’t we pair the two together?
Dog Bless You is an organization that helps donate dogs to soldiers with PTSD-related incidents. It just takes a few seconds to review the website and like them on Facebook. Each ‘like’ that they receive helps fund money to give a dog to a soldier. Is there anything more comforting than a wagging tail? :-)
